May 30 Scandal in Chengdu Sichuan Province我的心在流血
An out door equipment store owner in Chengdu has been arrested for allegedly cheating the Red Cross and Selling quake-relief tents as regular tents. The prosecutor's office in Jinjiang District of the capital of Sichuan Province has approved the arrest of store owner identified as Liu. The earthquake caused panic buyting of tents, sleeping bags and air mattresses in Chengdu. Liu's Shushanxing Outdoor Equipment sold out all the items the day after the earthquake, the report said. Liu fooled the Red Cross into certifying his store to transport tents and other out equipment under the name of "relief materials". Liu allegedly ordered and received 616 tents, 880 sleeping bags and 1,083 air mattresses from May 14 to 21 that were delivered via special express trans carrying relief materials. He pulled off tags that read "FOR VICTIMS" and "RELIEF MATERIALS" and sold the itmes for more than 800,000 yuan.
Having been here, Shanghai, for 19 days. I heard about these heartbreak news from Sichuan province. ABROVE is the picture from CHENGDU, SICHUAN PROVINCE. That is what happened on the street in Chengdu NOW! Since everybody from different country is trying to help Wenchuan county, see what are these damn businessmen doing there?! Those pigs just took advantage of the disaster, even from the same association. How stupid these people are! We contribute aid for these vitctims, meet everything they need. That is what they do to us now. The corruption is everywhere in Sichuan now, even the RED CROSS! My heart is bleeding now!
" PLEASE STOP! WE ARE OF THE SAME BLOOD!"
自从地震以后,红十字会对灾区的捐款有6.5%中饱私囊,说什么是手续费,荒唐!再看看成都街头的“风景”,我不得不理解我那些国外的朋友的做法了。
A: Did you contribute anything to the disaster area in Sichuan Province?
B: You are a Chinese. You know the corruption level in China now. See even tent.
A: ....................................................................................................
